By now you’re probably up-to-date on news regarding the all-new 2017 Ford GT – with its 3.5-liter, twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine and its limited production numbers, the GT is without a doubt one of Ford’s most technologically advanced and most regarded cars ever built. In fact, it’s enough to class this Blue Oval machine in the supercar index by today’s standards.
With nearly 650 horsepower and an extremely lightweight platform, thanks to its carbon fiber and aluminum structure, we can only expect incredible performance figures from this exceptional supercar to come. But for now, we’re more than happy to see this car from a far in the video brought to us by The GT Guys.
Displayed in crystal clear high definition for our viewing pleasure lies what we can only assume is a pre-production 2017 Ford GT, finished in Ford’s Liquid Red exterior hue. If you’ll recall, the line of “Liquid” finishes included the Blue Oval’s very blue, highly desirable Liquid Blue, which all of its pre-production Ford Performance variant models wore in its debuts.
Thankfully, Ford listened to many of its fans and actually decided to bring a version of Liquid Blue to the general public in the form of Lightning Blue; which is available on the 2017 Ford Mustang and the Shelby GT350/R. Though as a fun fact, the all-new 2017 GT seems to be the only vehicle available from the factory (as of now) that you can order finished in that highly desirable Liquid Blue color. Pretty neat if you ask us.
