Flares and bags are all the rage with the S550 crowd, so it should come as no surprise that a Japanese body kit builder has set its sights on the latest Mustang. Known primarily for enhancing the lines of supercars, Liberty Walk will release a new Mustang body kit later this month.
Established by a then 26-year-old Wataru Kato, Liberty Walk manufactures kits for a wide range of vehicles from the Audi R8 to the Nissan GTR. The Mustang kit (PN LB27-01; £5,440) is set to include a front diffuser, side diffuser, rear diffuser, duck tail rear wing, side fender, and a ducted hood. An AirREX Digital Air Suspension (PNFD016; £4,699) is also available to complete the low-slung look.
“The rear over fender and the rear ducktail are in the Showa’s Yancha style design,” says Liberty Walk. “Around the front is a GT design preferred by people all over the world!”
Liberty Walk will debut the Mustang with the completed kit at the J Nation show in Japan on September 17, so you won’t have to wait long to see what the finished product looks like.
