Let’s face it; if you want a new Mustang and you have to watch your friends who own them modding away, it can be tough. However, thanks to the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, you can get a real head start on joining the fun by winning a 2017 Mustang GT convertible that’s already been modified.
Ford Performance has given us a bin full of speed parts to turn up the wick. — Stephanie Hoover, GoodguysThe event promotor often gives away custom vehicles at its shows throughout the year, and the latest is an S550 droptop upgraded with lots of aftermarket gear.
“Ford Performance has given us a bin full of speed parts to turn up the wick. Plus, it will have DefenderWorx street fender flares, B-Forged wheels, BFGoodrich tires, Baer Brakes, and a Roush Performance aero kit!” Stephanie Hoover wrote on the company blog. “Tony Arme, now President and founder of American Legends Hot Rods and Muscle Cars in Arizona, is currently doing the performance mod installations while Drew Brothers Customs handled the custom paint and vinyl wrapping.”
The car began life as a base Mustang convertible powered by the 300-horsepower V-6 engine backed by a six-speed manual transmission. It is also optioned with the voice-activated navigation system, which will help as it participates in the Music City and Hall of Fame Road Tours en route to Goodguys events later this year.
You can sign up to win the car at one of those Goodguys events across the country as well as on its official website right here. The contest closes on December 1, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. PST, but you’ll probably want to enter now before you forget.
