This free App from JEGS lets drag racers practice reaction times and christmas tree starts. It is also a fun app for non-racers too.

Honing your starting-line skills has never been easier, thanks to the brand-new JEGS Perfect Start iPhone application, which is free to download and use.

“We’re in a global environment, and, by offering this free app, we’re hoping to fill a specific need for drag racers, fans, and everyone that just wants to have some fun,” five-time World Champion drag racer Jeg Coughlin Jr. said. “This is a great introduction to drag racing, and, at the same time, it’s perfect for hard-core racers who like to stay sharp at the tree. I certainly spend a lot of time on my practice trees, and now I’ll have one with me wherever I go, right there in the palm of my hand.”

Like a regular practice tree, the JEGS Perfect Start iPhone application can be dialed in for each user’s specific needs, from a Pro Start to a full Sportsman Tree.

“We’ve been testing it extensively, and I really think people are going to enjoy using this thing, whether to tune themselves up before the big race, or passing it around at a party to see who can cut the best light,” Coughlin said.
