On the Road Again: Jack Roush Un-cancels His Schedule

ROUSH Performance has announced that the “Cat in the Hat” is back; looking forward to getting out and meeting his fans again.

Roush canceled his public appearance schedule in August, following a hard landing at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, WI, earlier this year. Roush sustained significant facial injuries. He was released from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, on August 11 and returned to Michigan to recuperate.

The incident at Wittman is under investigation by FAA officials, however, it is expected that a report on the incident will not be released for a few months yet. Roush was flying in to attend the Experimental Aircraft Association’s AirVenture show.

Shortly after, Roush attended the CARFAX 400 at Michigan International Speedway in August, following his recovery. He was expected to watch the race from a private box, however, reports suggest that it wasn’t long before the NASCAR team owner took his rightful place – in the pits with his drivers and crew.

Roush has now scheduled a public appearance at Town & Country Ford in Pell City, AL, on Thursday, October 28th. He will be at the dealership from 6:00 to 8:00 pm local time. Both ROUSH enthusiasts and their vehicles are invited to show up.
