PRI 2011: 50 Parts For The 5.0 With Ford Racing

The 5.0 Mustang is an amazing car, and enthusiasts are already clamoring for ways to push performance even further.
Anytime a new Mustang comes out, there is always that lag to get performance parts.  Ford Racing though is trying to keep that from happening on the 2013 Mustang with the 5o for 5.0 promotion that promises 50 new Ford Racing parts to be delivered over the next year. Whether you want to enhance your ’11-’13 Mustang with engine parts, factory engineered suspension components or new wheels, Ford Racing has the parts ready to install. Want a BOSS 302 side exit exhaust but don’t have a BOSS? No problem.

But this also doesn’t go for bolt on parts, we are also talking about further support for people looking for race parts as well, like a complete cam gear/timing set for those of you that are planning to build a Coyote long block and don’t have a core. Other featured parts in the 50 for 5.0 promotion include camshafts, cylinder heads, performance exhaust kits, 14-inch brake kits, front end splitters, fuel injectors, x-pipes, coil covers, throttle bodies and even full crate engines if you’re looking for a transplant.

“We’ve got talented engineers here at Ford Racing who are passionate about performance,” said George Goddu. “The 5.0 Mustang is an amazing car, and enthusiasts are already clamoring for ways to push performance even further. We have 50-plus factory engineered performance components ready for any late-model 5.0-liter Mustang, with more to come. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our products.”

“We drive what you drive,” said Goddu. “We’re performance enthusiasts first, and we feel lucky we get to work with fast cars and parts that make them go faster, handle better or stop quicker. We really enjoy our work because it’s also our passion. Ford dealers have a great lineup of cars right now, and we just unveiled the 2013 Mustangs that will be arriving in dealerships soon. It’s an exciting time for us, and we have to keep moving to get parts ready for these cars, too.”
