The more time that goes by, the more common these stories seem to become. Almost like some twisted fairy tale, these classic cars slumber away in some dusty barn or garage, or worse yet, some pasture where it must battle the seasons for years, sometimes decades, just waiting to be rescued by that special someone. While many people are stumbling across these stashed gems, who knows how many are still rotting away in an unsuspecting place.
This goes for this old 1969 Mustang coupe, braving mother nature and the wrath of her elements. According to David from Texas, this old Ford survived hurricanes and wildfires for about a decade, and the years that have not been kind.

David saw some potential in the old pony and is currently in the process of giving the car a complete restoration, inside and out. Looking at both the exterior and interior, it looks like David had his work cut out for him. The 351 Windsor engine found inside, as well as the FMX transmission, are currently in the process of rebuild.
