We love Ford, but we have to say the company is pretty bad at keeping a secret these days. After months of speculation by everybody (and their mother) in the auto industry that the Mustang would receive a refreshed look for 2013, it is now a confirmed fact, thanks to some loose-lipped radio DJ’s.

Mustangs Daily reports that a radio station in L.A. is giving out tickets to a concert on November 15th, a day before the opening of the L.A. Auto Show.

The news was posted on KROQ’s “Street Team” website, pledging to give away 50 tickets to the lucky winners to a concert next Tuesday night. The private concert will feature The Bravery at Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles. It was also feature another very, very special guest; the refreshed 2013 Mustang.

The next Mustang refresh will get styling cues from the Shelby GT500, including a forward-slanting grille, revised taillights, and possibly even a power boost. So now it is all but confirmed that we’ll be seeing a new Mustang next week at the L.A. Auto Show, and we can’t wait to get a good look at it without all that ugly camouflage.
