2016 Cobra Jet Available Already On Craigslist

Craigslist is probably the last place you’d expect to find a 2016 Cobra Jet for sale on, but it is possible. With a limited production of only 50 models per year, one could easily assume that all of those models had already been spoken for; but you’d be wrong. This particular example (number 48 of the aforementioned 50 produced) is available for sale on Craigslist right now.

Albeit for sale via this Craigslist ad, this Cobra Jet is actually available from Colonial Ford out of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Curiosity got the best of us and had us asking how one of these ultra-rare Cobra Jet examples slipped through the fingers of enthusiasts; so we hit up the guys at Colonial Ford to get the full scoop on this pristine Mustang Cobra Jet. We had the pleasure of speaking with Dwight Coblazo, a representative from the company. Coblazo gave us a rundown on the vehicle saying, “This is a brand new Cobra Jet. We entered ourselves into a pool for the car, and we were awarded the vehicle.

Out of 4,800 Ford dealerships in the country, we were one of the lucky ones to get one of 50 Cobra Jet models after purchasing it. We’re a hometown dealership, and we’re very proud of the fact that we’re a dealership that has a very strong clientele in Plymouth. We’re also a Roush dealership, and we’ve also acquired a few Shelby GT350s.”

Coblazo says that locals are well aware that Colonial Ford is the go-to place for any Ford vehicle, including the more unique ones like this Cobra Jet. He says the company focuses on providing the best service possible, and that the dealership plans to expand within the next year with an additional dealership across the street from the current location. The expansion will enable Colonial Ford to acquire more vehicles like this Cobra Jet and possibly the all-new 2016 Focus RS.
