OK, be nice guys. I know you are asking who’s “On Jay” and what is “Cred” but here goes Ford marketing once again. We’ve all seen some pretty cool Ford television spots lately for Mustang and F-Series but it’ll be interesting to see if the “Edge’s” 80 million dollar (Advertising Age) campaign can win back the hearts and minds of Ford die hards . The campaign will include trendy promotional concepts including social networking, user-generated web sites, music sharing, and interactive digital advertising. The campaign will also use endorsement from the pop music world.
I wonder why Ford hasn’t tried to reach out to their most brand loyal customers by taking out an Edge ad at FordMuscle? Something tells me you guys might not be too influenced by Korean soap opera and pop star Ahn Jae Wook and hip hop diva Kelis. We’ll have to agree.
