Some people just can’t let things be the way they are. Not that we’re complaining, because we get to see some pretty sweet cars out of the deal, but it’s interesting to see the need for speed go above and beyond even the 4 to 600hp levels that many factory cars are offering these days. One such car is the new Boss 302 Mustang with its 444hp 5.0L V8 under the hood tackled by a 6-speed closed ratio manual transmission and 3.73 rearend gear ratio. But like we said, for some people, that’s just not enough.

One such lad is Chip Pike, a black and red Boss 302 Laguna Seca owner that we caught word of on YellowBullet.com. With a Hellion twin turbo system Pike’s car recently made over 800rwhp on 12lbs of boost. What’s even more impressive is with just 9lbs of boost, the car made 754rwhp and Pike was able to drive it back 830 miles to his home in Arkansas with no problems.

Aside from the twin turbo setup, Pike’s car has 80lb injectors and a Vortech voltage pump booster. Everything else in the engine is bone stock according to his posts on the forum.

For virtually stock internals, we’d say he doubled the car’s factory horsepower with a couple of turbos is pretty impressive. Now all we’re waiting for is some track passes to see what this bad boy ‘Stang can do when it’s unleashed.
