Canton Racing Products might be more well known for their oil pans, but they also produce a barrage of external tank designs.  These can include breather catch tanks, overflow tanks, air/oil separators and even supercharger coolant tanks.  What we are talking about today is their extra capacity supercharger coolant tank for the 2007 & Up Mustang GT500. The tanks are built from .100″ aluminum to be stronger and more reliable than stock. They are even designed to mount in the stock location, using stock hardware plus the stock cap. Canton also makes tanks in both pressure and vacuum cap designs for street or strip applications.  Also may fit other Supercharged Mustang applications if power steering tank is relocated.

Another addition is Canton’s new 35 micron, washable stainless steel oil filter element.  These filters are designed to be cleaned after short intervals.  The other option is their standard high synthetic fiber depth filter element which flows 15 GPM of hot engine oil with no loss of pressure. If you want really clean oil, Canton offers a two-staging filtering system that will flow slightly less than their synthetic fiber option.  It has a 3-inch diameter, heavy duty light weight billet aluminum housing and a blue anodized or polished finish.
