Who would have thought ol’ Sheeny-boy there was a Mustang fan? Even more surprising, Sheen’s customizations are…well…good. We must say, for a crazy man, Charlie Sheen has good taste. The Mustang is up for auction at CharityBuzz, with the current bid at $105,000. And yes, the car is signed by Sheen himself.
This car is actually pre-Crazy Charlie, which could indicate the tasteful upgrades. When Sheen first got this Mustang back in 2006, it was an all-original car. However, good enough is not good enough for Sheen, who had the Mustang heavily modified. The stock engine was replaced by a NASCAR Winston Cup 358 cubic-inch V8 that makes about 650 horsepower. Behind this beast of an engine is a six-speed manual transmission.
The suspension is fully upgraded to racing specs, as are the brakes. Judging from the racing seats, roll bar, and souped-up engine and suspension, it would appear that Sheen wanted to race this car, even though it is street legal. Since the modifications, the Mustang has only racked up 155 miles. CharityBuzz estimates the value of the vehicle at $283,000, and the proceeds will go to benefit C5 LA, a youth leadership initiative.
