It seems like Dubai gets to play with all of the cool stuff. Not many police patrol fleets continuously add exotic cars to their police force with the most recent fleet vehicle being a Bugatti Veyron. Other exotic police fleet vehicles include Lamborghinis, Ferraris, McLaren MP4-12C, Audi R8s, Nissan GT-Rs, Aston Martins, Bentleys, Mercedes-Benz AMGs, and let’s not forget the Ford Mustang. Now Dubai is currently adding some new vehicles to their medical fleet. The 2014 Ford Mustang has been added to the fleet as a government ambulance “first responder” vehicle.
These “first responder” vehicles need to be able to make it to the scene of an accident in a timely manner. According to DriveArabia.com, these 2014 Ford Mustangs are perfect for the job. As I’m sure you know, even the V-6 Mustangs are pushing over 300 horsepower straight out of the gate and still maintaining 30+ miles per gallon.
These Ford Mustang ambulances won’t be the ones transporting any patients, but onboard are all of the necessary first-aid and initial traige tools that can be administered while waiting on a larger ambulance to transport the patients to the hospital.
It would be cool to see some of these Mustangs in action equipped with all of the emergency lights. However, when they are spotted out and about, we hope it’s nothing too serious.
