By now the latest and greatest Mustang GT 500 has made it onto the wish list of performance enthusiasts of all kinds. After all, who could say no to over 600hp from a factory muscle car? But would you trade in a vintage GT500 for the latest version? One with a correct 428 Cobra Jet engine and only 32,000 miles on the odometer? Well someone did just that, giving you the rare opportunity to own one of Mustang’s greatest models ever made!

The 1970 Mustang GT500 is currently up for sale through Jordan Motorcars in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to their website, you can also access information and a photo gallery of the car on eBay, where the current “Buy It Now” price is set at $109,000. According to eBay, two offers have been placed on the car, but neither of them have been accepted by the dealership.

Per the VIN on the car, the Mustang is a true 428ci Cobra Jet car prepared by Shelby.

Unfortunately, it’s not the original engine that’s in the car currently but a factory-correct 428CJ with upgraded aluminum heads and intake. Although it’s not the original engine, just 32,210 miles appear on the odometer. Supporting the Cobra Jet engine is a 3-speed automatic.

Originally Acapulco Blue Metallic, the car was repainted White approximately 15 years ago, but the original Shelby-formed body panels remain on the car. The Black interior is also thought to be original, as is the glass.

Prior to making its way to Jordan Motorcars, the Mustang had been owned by the same person for 17 years. But with the appeal of a new GT500, the vintage Stang was turned into the dealership and is now up for grabs in all its glory.
