One of the things that bring enthusiasts to the Mustang platform is the wealth of aftermarket parts and hardware available to tweak the basic Mustang into something that reflects the driver’s personality. eBay is hosting a cool new series called Mod Jobs that is a series of short videos that follow a group of select shops in the LA area as they take a 2012 Mustang GT from stock to over the top and then auction the ride off for charity.
The first of the video episodes saw the Mustang get a new Edelbrock supercharger under the hood to give the car more power. The second episode saw the Stangs getting a new exhaust system and hitting the dyno rollers. The third installment of the video series is where the Mustang gets a new stance with a new lowered suspension system. More episodes are to come.
The coolest part of this eBay series is that once the car is complete it will be auctioned off live on eBay. The proceeds from the sale of the hopped up GT will go to Patriot Outreach. This program supports military personnel, retirees, veterans, contractors, and their families with any trauma they might have sustained during their service. Check out the videos on the eBay dedicated Mod Jobs page and see the progress so far.
