God bless the Internet. For all the foolishness and drivel it has released upon the world, it also has its moments of redeeming entertainment value. I’m not talking about the slapstick, beat-on-a-rental-car type of hi-jinks, but the kind of unique and enjoyable recreation that might never have been seen otherwise.
The case in point comes from Nathan Adlen and Roman Mira, two aspiring web videographers that decided to do something a little different when they picked up a 2011 Shelby GT500 for review. They chose to examine an age-old question that commercial travelers face many times every year. Should I fly or should I drive?
You know the deal. If you get up and just set out from the house, how long does it take? If you get up, grab a taxi to the airport, get there ahead of time to get through security, get on the plane and so on and so on, is it really any faster? So, these guys set it up and did the trip from Boulder to Aspen, CO. Check out the videos below. We know who you’ll be rooting for… and the ending is a surprise you probably didn’t expect.
