You might remember Andy Caufield, he is the guy that had the first Kenne Bell supercharged 2012 Boss 302 in all the land. Andy was lucky to get the Boss, let alone get his Boss hooked up with some serious supercharged power. Mustangs run in the family and as lucky as we though Andy was, his Grandpa has a collection of Mustangs that is one of the most impressive collections we have ever seen.
Andy’s gramps has one or more of every Boss Mustang produced in the 69-71 range and these are not cars that are needing restoration. These cars all look like they just rolled off the assembly line and are pristine, even though some were modded back in the day and still wear those mods. It’s a very impressive sight indeed to see Andy’s 2012 Boss 302 sitting on the lawn along with 69 and 70 Boss 302s, Boss 429s, and even a 71 Boss 351.
There are a few Mach 1 cars from the 60’s thrown in there to boot. The most impressive part of this Boss collection is that the majority of them are survivor cars meaning they are original and unrestored. The list includes a 1969 Boss 302 in yellow, a 1970 Boss 302 in green, a 1971 Boss 351 in gray, a 69 white Boss 429, and a 70 Calypso Coral Boss 429. That white Boss 429 has something a little bit more special about it. That car is a 10,453-mile original survivor with magnesium valve covers and an early build S motor.
The Mach 1 Stangs include a 69 Mach 1 428 Super Cobra Jet Drag pack car, a 70 Mach 1 in gray with an auto, and a 71 Mach 1 4-speed. There is also an 89 5.0 GT convertible tossed in there. What a fantastic collection of classic and modern Mustangs right there. We want to see Andy’s blown 2012 Boss 302 run that 428 Super Cobra Jet.
