If you live near, or plan to travel through, West Palm Beach, FL be on the look out. Police have purchased two Mustang GT’s which will be used as un-marked patrol cars to nab speeders.
The black-on-black 2007 Mustang GT’s are downright stealthy looking, with the only police identifiers being the red and blue strobe lights behind the grill and rear-view mirror, and the badge-wearing, gun-toting driver officer behind the wheel.
The vehicles were made possible through a $92,000 Florida Department of Transportation Grant. A third Mustang is being considered.
