Many of you have seen the gorgeous 1960 Starliner owned by FM reader Kevin Grani. The custom Starliner has been featured in countless magazines due to its unique stance and beautiful body work by Andre’s Custom and Rods. The 390 powered ‘liner sits low on Billet Specialties 18″ front 20″ rear wheels and Air Ride air bags. Baer 13″ brakes are set behind all four wheels. A Wurth-it Rack and pinion makes for modern day road feel. Along with the two-tone candy paint are a pinched roof and shaved door handles.
It’s a Ford Muscle car that many of us can only dream of owning, and now we can. Well almost. Maisto, the diecast toy car company, we can all own a 1/26th version of Kevin’s Starliner. Apparantly the designers at Maisto have good taste. They took notice of the car a couple years ago and just recently locked in the design. Look for it in major toy stores soon.
