Most of us probably had not heard of Galpin Auto Sports, or GAS, before MTV took its hit show “Pimp My Ride” to their impressive facilities. Since then, GAS has spent a lot of time in the spotlight, though the truth is, they’ve been the number one Ford dealer by volume for quite a while now. They’ve also concocted some crazy Mustangs for SEMA, though this year it seems a little more toned down.
Rather than any ridiculous, over-the-top Mustangs like in years past, 2011 will see GAS bringing a demure widebody Mustang to show off at next weeks SEMA Show, reports Mustangs Daily.
This is more in line with last year’s GAS Mustang, which was also of the widebody variety. Instead of a menacing black paint job though, this year the GAS crew has opted for a more upbeat orange color. They are calling their car the “Boss 302X and are adding widebody panels for a more aggressive look.
Of course an aggressive look is no good without some serious performance upgrades and GAS doesn’t disappoint. From the Procharger supercharger system to the Borla exhaust, this BOSS is meant to go fast, and look good doing it. Those flashy 20-inch wheels certainly help as well.
