The voting has stopped for the all-female build to be unveiled and displayed at SEMA. Ford Motor Company and the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) brought three designs forward to see which one would get the most votes from an all-female perspective. The winning rendering is High Gear was designed by Jennifer Seely of Ford Motor Company and was inspired by international products such as jewelry, couture clothing and architecture. This was the calmer choice of the three designs and sometimes simpler is the better choice, although it’s not that simple at all.

The highlights of this specific design and build consist of Rosegold chrome accents throughout both the exterior and interior of the build including the wheels and running pony in the grille, and the exterior will feature a satin black paint job. The High Gear design will also feature plush quilted suede seats with a leather wrapped interior. Modifications will also be made to the engine, undercarriage, drive train and sound system.
Since Ford Motor Co. is a title sponsor for this project, they donated a 2013 Ford Mustang GT for this special build. Female members of the SBN (SEMA business woman’s network) will be hands-on installing the vehicle mods from July to August. Of course the final product will be unveiled at the 2012 SEMA show this year in Las Vegas and then be auctioned off on eBay with proceeds helping the SEMA Memorial fund which is dedicated to fostering the next generation of automotive aftermarket leaders and innovators.
