Jesse James 1,000 HP Ford GT Crashes In Texas

Not many metal fabricators achieve the level of success and notoriety that Jesse James has. James surged to fame in the mid-2000’s with the success of his television show Monster Garage and his marriage to Sandra Bullock. Since then, the notorious bike and custom builder has divorced from Bullock, moved to Austin, Texas, and opened a new speed shop. A Jalopnik exclusive reports that earlier in the week, Jesse Jame’s 1,000 horsepower Ford GT drove off the road near his Austin home. F’ing whoops indeed.

James moved down to Austin to be near the mothers of his children, and to open a new endeavor, the Austin Speed Shop. Reportedly he drove a 1,000 horsepower Hennessey twin-turbo Ford GT, and it often sat outside the new speed shop.

On December 4th James tweeted this photo, and not long after a tipster contacted Jalopnik with another photo of the crashed GT in what the tipster claims was his neighbor’s yard.  Then Jame’s son posted on Jalop saying that it was James driving, that it wasn’t on the neighbors land, and that there was very little damage done to the car.

Ah, the joys and perils of fame. Can’t a man crash a 1,000 horsepower supercar without the whole world knowing anymore?
