The hits in the Outlaw 10.5 world keep on coming this week, as the talented folks at Gilsbach Racecraft in Detroit up in the heart of the American auto industry have delivered yet another jaw-dropping work of art, this time for customer and Ford Motor Company employee Kevin Sievers. This 2011 Mustang, backed by the renowned Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor, Mich., is trick inside and out from nose to tail, and sports an ’05-’09 Joe Van Overbeek-designed hood to finish out the Cobra Jet look, as the namesake on the fender implies.
Power for the new mount reportedly comes from a relatively unique approach for Outlaw 10.5, with a naturally-aspirated big block Ford under the hood. The car is presently wearing a set of 33×10.5W tires for Outlaw 10.5 battle, but the Gilsbach crew has stated the car – which weighs in at just 2,725 pounds with driver – can also be swapped to a pair 29.5 True 10.5’s should Sievers wish to do so. Naturally, with the Detroit-area home base, look for this impressive new machine at the Milan Dragway heads-up events, with the debut likely occurring this Friday night.
