Think you’d look good in a brand new 2011 Ford explorer XLT? Well the folks at K&N Filters are offering you the chance to win and drive away in one. The giveaway will be part of the K&N Horsepower Challenge for NHRA Pro Stock competitors, which is a 20-race challenge in which drivers accumulate points throughout the year to earn a spot in the special race-within-a-race bonus event held at the Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio on June 25th.
K&N has once again announced that the 8th and final spot in the field will be awarded by popular vote from the racing fans. As well, fans will have a chance to win big as K&N has teamed up with Ford Motor Company to give away a 2011 Ford Explorer XLT to one of the lucky 8 sweepstakes finalists.
On June 25th at Summit Motorsports Park, each finalist with be randomly paired with one of the eight Pro Stock drivers comprising the K&N Horsepower Challenge field. The lucky finalist paired with the winner of the lucrative special event will drive away in a new 2011 Ford explorer XLT courtesy of Ford.
Eight K&N Horsepower Challenge finalists will receive a trip to the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk, each receiving an air travel voucher, a maximum of four days and three nights accommodation at a hotel and ground transportation. No purchase is necessary to enter the sweepstakes, which ends on May 27th at 3:00 PM PST. Entrants must be 18 years of age.
