Kooks Cooks Up a Sweet Set of Stainless Steel for the 2011 5.0L

Working in conjunction with Ford Motorsports, Kooks developed a header and exhaust package to maximize horsepower and torque gains for the 2011 Mustang 5.0.

Kooks Headers is proud to introduce Headers and Complete Exhaust Systems for the new 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L. Kooks’ has worked hand-and-hand with Ford Motorsports and have developed a header and exhaust package which is sure to make everyone’s heads turn.

Kook’s Headers were designed to utilize the sequential firing order of the New Ford Coyote 5.0L 4-Valve cylinder heads, so that the MOST horsepower and torque can be gained. Increases of more than 45 horsepower and 40 ft.-lbs of torque have been achieved.

The headers come in 1 3/4 x 3-inch for street/strip applications and 1 7/8 x 3-inch for race applications.  Pair the headers up with Kooks made 3-inch X-Pipe or H-Pipe, either with High-Flow Race Catalyst or without (Off-Road Use Only). To complement the Headers and Cross-Over pipes, Kooks has also released a complete 3-inch Cat-back-exhaust system. This exhaust is 3 inches throughout and includes mandrel-bent “Over the Axle” pipes, Kooks Racing Polished Oval Mufflers and 4-inch Polished Exhaust Tips.

For the enthusiasts who want the simplest gain in power and increase in exhaust tone, Kooks also has released an Axle-Back Only Exhaust.  This just includes Polished Mufflers and Tips, and it is a direct factory replacement for the Factory Mufflers.
