Livernois Motorsports has long been one of the go-to shops when it comes to modern Ford high performance components. From CNC Mod-Motor heads to the basic tunes and Cold Air Intakes, they’ve got what they believe are the best parts ready for your ride. Of course, when Ford released their new 6.2L Boss Modular engine for the SVT Raptor, we knew Livernois would be one of the first to play with this monster.

Right off the bat Livernois showed us they could pick up 21 HP and 33 ft lbs. of torque with just a CAI and a dyno-tune, but thanks to a tip off by Rick Leblanc at Livernois, we’ve been given a sneak peak into their engine development program for the 6.2L, on SVTPerformance.

Of course, Rick isn’t giving us every little detail on what they’re conjuring up, he tells us that we’ll have to wait for the PRI Trade Show in December to see the finished products. Much like what they recently developed for the HEMI, it was hinted that upgraded rocker bar shafts may be on the drawing board, which on their HEMI offerings includes billet aluminum rocker bar hold-downs, ARP hold-down bolts, and adjustable clamps for setting rocker position.

As to what else is up on the drawing board – as with all their other modular engine parts, we’re pretty certain that camshafts, CNC cylinder heads, rotating assemblies, short blocks and other miscellaneous crucial components will be on their way onto Livernois’ shelves and under the hoods of the fastest SVT Raptors. Well, we know what the Raptor is capable of in stock form, we know it responds fairly well to simple bolt-on modifications, but what should we expect from some no expense spared engine packages? Will 700+ Horsepower be attainable in N/A form? Stay tuned to find the answer to those very questions and more, or come on out to PRI this December to see it first hand.
