Mustang Girl Monday: Frankie Waters -A Next Generation Mustang Girl

It’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls. This week we have the pleasure of introducing you to 11 year old, Frankie Waters and her 1967 Mustang.

Frankie is a soon to be 12 year old recurve archer and daughter of Travis and Emily Waters. She enjoys working towards and accomplishing goals she sets for herself. After learning that her next incentive would be a project car, she demolished her shooting goal (scoring 280 out of 300!), leaving Dad and Mom shocked.
To her parents’ surprise, Frankie chose a 1967 Mustang Fastback. Her father has been working on one for a couple years and she fell in love with the body shape and says it’s not like any other car. Frankie has a great appreciation for older cars and no interest in newer models. She is really excited to work on the car to learn how it works so she can fix things when needed. Even though it’ll take some time to get the Stang running and driving, Frankie is up to the challenge and looks forward to each new step in the process. When she gets home from school, if she’s not shooting or going to Taekwondo class, she’s begging to work on her car with Dad.

So far, Frankie has learned how to change out tires using a jack and air socket, and has helped take off her hood and take out the engine. She’s loving every minute of it. As our youngest member of Team Mustang Girls we will be sure to keep you updated on the progress of her build and look forward to sharing the first picture of her cruising down the road. Rock on Frankie!
Each week Team Mustang Girls features a different woman and her Mustang. Check out the past featured ladies from Mustang Girl Monday and submit your own Mustang story at TeamMustangGirls.com.
