It’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls. This week we would like to introduce you to Mustang fanatic, and future drag racing star Courtney Pierce and her 2014 Grabber Blue Mustang.

Courtney never thought her passion for Mustangs and cars in general would grow to be something so big. It all started when she started driving at the age of 16. She told her dad she wanted a Range Rover and was told “no”. Later that week her father took her to a Ford dealer and they found a Sliver 2007 V6 Mustang that was an automatic. The next day they went back to the dealer to buy the car and another salesperson had sold it. Her heart was broken. Courtney had told all her friends she was coming home with a Mustang.

Later that night Courtney and her father went online to find another Mustang, They drove to Virginia from Maryland to look at the Mustang they had found. It was a black 2006 V6 Mustang that was also a automatic, but it had the Pony package on it. That night they drove the car home.

A little over a year passed and as well as a few mods. The want list for mods kept growing and Courtney decided she wanted a new Mustang.

In the spring of 2014 Courtney found herself trolling the local Ford dealerships trying to get one them to give her a good trade in value for her 2006. She finally found a dealership that offered a price she could make work and started looking for a new Mustang. Spotting a Grabber Blue 2014 V6, she instantly fell in love with the color. This was the first time Courtney’s name was on the title of anything and she was proud.

Courtney’s Mustang has made her a lot of friendships with people she never would have met otherwise. But the love and passion for Mustangs brought them all together. She has earned several sponsorship’s for her car including Diablo Sport and UPR. and hopes to gain a few more before the car show season starts next year. 

This summer Courtney plans to start drag racing with the help of Nikki Frost and Keith Fidura. She’s hoping to add to the number of female drivers in the racing world. Good luck Courtney, hope to see you up on the podium!
