Scott Perry of Maryland, officially presented his newly wrapped 2011 Mustang GT this past weekend at the NMRA stop in Maryland. A show stopper, this pony recently received a makeover from Exotic Wraps. Perry, wanting a new look for his pony arrived at this concept to show his love for the four branches of the American Armed Service. His love for the Mustang’s only rival is his love for our nation. Perry with Exotic designs went through several drafts before arriving at the final result. Perry was heavily involved in the process during every step. Each branch throughout the design is represented on every point of the car.

A regular on the show circuit, Perry wanted to stand out from the rest. He came up with the concept of a patriotic theme due to what he feels is the close connection between the Mustang and the basic American belief system. The Mustang representing freedom and choice, Perry felt the two simply fit. What better way to show love for both the Mustang and love of country, than to marry the two.
Perry has previously owned seven Mustangs prior to this 2011 GT, but had never tinkered with any type of modifications. With the purchase of the 2011 Perry was ready to dive into the world of mods and customization. And that he did. A few of the changes Perry has made to the 2011 GT since the purchase have been Vortech V-3 Si Trim supercharger and charge cooler, JLT Performance cold air intake, Ford Racing 72lb Injectors, Bassani Mufflers, JPC custom tune, Brembo high performace brake system, Nitto tires, Ford Racing front and rear sway bars, Tokico D-Spec adjustable struts and shocks, Mustang GT/CS ground effects, American Muscle AMR Drift wheels that have been hydro-dipped, and lambo style doors. Just a few of several interior and exterior modifications.
Perry’s family of eleven, which is comprised of several adopted and foster children rally around their Father’s love of Mustangs. Perry’s wife manages their pony heard from their home in Louisiana. Perry supports the family from Maryland as an independent contractor for the US Government. He makes the commute home twice a month with the 2011 Mustang GT in tow. Perry not only shows his pony at local events, but also uses it as his daily driver. This is not a ride that only comes out of the barn on occasion. Perry’s intention is for the tribute pony to be seen daily and for all to enjoy. Look for Perry and his Partriotic pony at upcoming local shows and meets in the Maryland area during the 2014 season.
