As enthusiasts we all enjoy modifying our cars and showing them off. After all, we want to be proud of what we’ve built – and having our hard work recognized is always a plus.
That’s why enthusiasts like Mustangs Unlimited and the Northeast Georgia Mustang Club host events like their Annual Fall Pony Car Roundup car show.
The yearly event is held at the Lawrenceville, Georgia Mustangs Unlimited. Every generation of Mustang owner, as well as any Ford powered or bodied vehicle, can attend the charitable car show which benefits the Toys For Tots charity. Like previous years, this year’s event had a great turnout with just about every generation of Mustang participating in the fun. From S550 chassis cars to ’65 coupes and everything in between, there was plenty of V8-powered eye-candy to be seen thanks to all the blue oval fans.
While the attendance from the car show drives most of the activities at the event, the real purpose of the event is to benefit those who need it the most. Every $15 entry fee that is collected is donated to the Toys For Tots drive. And if you’re not one for carrying cash, you can always bring an unwrapped toy to donate instead. All of the proceeds will be donated to the nationwide organization who’s mission is to provide Christmas gifts to underprivileged children around the country during the holiday season. If you ask us, attending a car show and supporting an organization that helps children sounds like a win-win in our book.
Mustangs Unlimited hosts several sponsored car shows and events around the country every year. Check out its website to find out when the next one near you is happening.
