FAST (Fuel Air Spark Technology), a division of the Comp Performance Group, revealed a prototype manifold for the 4.6L 3V engine at this years SEMA show in Las Vegas. The composite manifold is a three-piece unit which boasts significant redesign from the stock piece. FAST has taken advantage of the underhood space to make a taller manifold with increased runner length and volume. Preliminary modeling shows around a 40 horsepower increase. Look to FordMuscle to test the unit soon. The FAST 3V manifold is the first aftermarket manifold for the new Mustang GT which debuted just two years ago. The manifold is expected to be in production in the early part of 2007. We anticipate more details will soon be available on the FAST website.
