Now you have zero excuse for not making the NMRA’s Spring Break Shootout, held every March to kick off the season. ProMedia Events, the NMRA’s parent company just inked a 5-year contract with Bradenton Motorsports Park to keep the season opener at the track through the year 2020.
“NMRA has successfully partnered with Bradenton Motorsports Park since 2002 to produce the Spring Break Shootout and we have seen it grow to new heights in 2015,” said Steve Wolcott, President & CEO of ProMedia Events. “This event draws participants and fans from all over the U.S. and Canada to witness one of the greatest spectacles in Blue Oval performance.”
The NMRA’s Spring Break Shootout represents many racers’ first chance to escape the snow of the north, and bask in warm Florida sunshine for a change. For that reason, it remains one of the more popular races on the NMRA circuit. The Spring Break Shootout always attracts the fastest Mustangs, including a very large number of True Street cars, along with a large manufacturers midway, car show, and swap meet area.
“We are honored to be part of the elite list of facilities throughout the United States who host ProMedia Events,” said Alan Chervitz, Bradenton Motorsports Park Co-Owner. “Our area has so much to offer the race teams and fans who travel to this spectacular event each year. We are looking forward to the next five years of this event produced in partnership with the best in the business!”
Rollie Miller, NMRA National Event Director said, “The entire Bradenton Motorsports Park team have become an integral part of the NMRA family. With similar goals of taking care of the sportsman-level racer, we work together as one team to make sure that all racers, sponsors and fans have a great time at our events.”
If you haven’t made a Spring Break Shootout yet, you have at least 5 more chances to make your first. Bradenton Motorspots Park is the place to be in early March. You won’t regret it, we promise.
