The Ford Mustang is more than just a car; it is a marketing phenomenon, and Ford makes millions of dollars every year off of licensing products related to the pony car. These products range from t-shirts, wall signage, and baseball caps to complete classic Mustang bodies that allow you to build a brand new vintage pony car.
While these are are cool things, one of the most interesting officially-licensed Ford Mustang products is a pool table made from the mold of a legit 1965 Ford Mustang. Built in Largo, Florida by CarPoolTables.com, take a look at one of the many interesting products related to the Mustang.
Founder Tony Utegaard and his team used a real 1965 Ford Mustang to create the mold for the fiberglass body of the pool table, creating the memorable pony car shape. The fiberglass molds were created using a ‘65 Mustang found in a salvage yard, and genuine chrome trim is fitted to the pool table after the body panels have been painted and clear-coated.
These pool tables can be ordered in any factory original color, and real alloy wheels and tires are included as part of the package as well. Don’t think this isn’t a legitimate pool table either; the top features a three-piece Brazilian slate, championship felt, and solid hardwood all around. For the Mustang maniac who has it all, this Mancave centerpiece is a must-have.
