When researching topics to write up, a lot of work goes into sifting through all of the stories that pop up in your internet search. While browsing through news stories of all kinds, Mustang crashes seem to be the most popular. Considering they’ve been on the road since the mid-60’s and it being an extremely common car, the stories that come through are seriously endless. Being a touchy subject, a lot of stories are passed up unless it has some sort of shock factor, epic fail or some other jaw-dropping factor such as flying off of a parking garage.
This one may fall under shock factor.
The Ford Mustang that crashed this day was cut right in half. This poor SN-95 won’t be seeing another driving day, but luckily the lady driving it will. She left the roadway and went down an embankment, striking a tree and ejecting her out of the car. One tree hit the roof which severed the entire vehicle leaving half of the car facing the complete opposite way from the rest of the body. It’s amazing to see this Mustang completely severed into two pieces.
The lady who was driving it miraculously survived and was flown to an Atlanta hospital with some critical injuries. During the crash, she received a deep wound to one of her arms as well as a few internal injuries. The cause of this accident is still under investigation with the Georgia Highway Patrol. She may have a lengthy stay at the hospital, but here’s wishing a speedy recovery to another fellow Mustang driver.
