It’s almost that time of the year again…and no, we aren’t talking about Christmas. We are talking about the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association, better known as SEMA, and their annual car show in Las Vegas. This means the return of exciting new car products, hot girls in skimpy outfits, and of course the stars themselves, the custom cars that make the trek from all over the world to be a part of this annual celebration of all things automotive.
And you better believe there will be lots of Mustangs on hand. Mustang Evolution caught these spy shots of wheelmaker Forgiato’s upcoming widebody Mustang project that will make its world debut at SEMA.
Details are scarce at the moment, though we can derive a few things from these spy photos. Being that Forgaito is a wheelmaker, the natural centerpiece of this project are the huge 22” wheels which, while perhaps a little large for our tastes, are awesome to look at and will look even better on the fiished product.
The widebody kit meanwhile seems very performance oriented, with huge fender wells, air inlets, and a custom hood. Both the front and rear fascia are missing, probably undergoing some revisions and whatnot to help this Mustang stand out even more from the crowd. We can’t wait to see the final product on the SEMA Show floor, as we’re sure it will sparkle.
