Sometimes you make an offer on something and it changes your life. Especially if car’s are your life and something like this takes place. That’s what happened when an old rusty, seen-much-better-days classic Ford Mustang Mach 1 was in sights of a young man who knocked on a door wanting a tool box, and was willing to trade his project Mustang Mach 1 for one.
“In the summer of 1998 Doug came to the door, proposing a trade of the tool box for his project Mustang. Curt didn’t hesitate to say yes as it was a car he grew up seeing as teenager.”
Curt took on the project full force. He dove into the project right away and overcame many obstacles that arose during the restoration period. It definitely had a lot of work ahead of it. Whether it was shortage of funds, lack of employment, a place to park the ‘Stang while he wrenched on it. Everything thrown his way was overcame and after six years, it has been turned into the masterpiece that it is today. After those six long years, the vintage Mach 1 looks straight off the showroom floor, but even better.

It is painted a custom green that makes it stand out. Curt didn’t want just an ordinary classic restored Mach 1, which is indeed a beauty in itself, but he wanted to make it more rare than what it was. So the color was chosen, and here she sits in a beautiful green. This old Ford Mustang Mach 1 fought death and won.
