The 2013 Shelby GT-500 has already proven to be one hell of a beast with all of the hype surrounding the fastest production Mustang ever made. It is already a force to be reckoned with having most enthusiasts chomping at the bit. Those lucky folks who already have their hands on one have a stock 650+ hp readily available under their right foot.
But what about those who have an older model Shelby GT500? This year the Shelby was upgraded from the previous 5.4-liter V8 to a crazy 5.8-liter monster. Some of the older model owners may be feeling a bit jealous with all of that horsepower coming straight out of the factory nowadays.
Good news for the owners of the Shelby GT500 built from 2007 – 2012. A supercharger kit has been created by the Shelby guys adding a ridiculous 300 hp under the hood after installation. Shelby Performance parts didn’t want to leave out owners of previous models and now their power fix is available. This new 3.4-liter Black Supercharger Tuner Kit bumps up your horsepower quite a bit. This is bound to make most power hungry enthusiasts green with envy.

Not only that but Shelby Performance also launched a new Competition Heat Exchanger made of 11-inch fans with a Competition Intercooler Tank that you can store ice or drive ice in.
So go ahead, make that supercharger whine at the strip and leave the rest of the guys in the dust wondering what just happened. You should prop up that hood at your next car show and leave onlookers in awe.
