Justin Jordan’s record-setting 2014 Mustang GT met an untimely demise at the hands of a distracted driver; totaled after setting the stock Coyote engine record with an 8.68 at 156 mph pass. Snow WhiTTe, as it was named, boasted a twin-turbocharged stock Coyote engine, and was at its performance and safety limits so it was about to go through a few changes at the time of the accident. However, the accident both accelerated and slowed down the plan to go faster at the same time.

Jordan already has many of the new parts on hand, awaiting installation. These new Weld Racing wheels will be put into action when the car makes its debut.
“I knew the engine was on borrowed time so I had already put plans in motion to take the car to the next level and build the drivetrain,” Jordan says. “When the car got rear-ended, I had to alter things a bit and change my time line as I was waiting for all of the insurance and such to get handled. Now that it is mostly behind me, it’s full speed ahead.”
Full speed ahead means Jordan already has this black 2014 GT as Snow WhiTTe’s replacement, and going under the knife as we put this together. “My plans are to have the car completed and dialed in enough to have a respectable showing at the NMRA World Finals in Bowling Green, KY in October. I’ve already booked the hotel for the event and am anticipating having the car back from the chassis shop the first or second week in August,” Jordan says.
Knowing the stock engine was living on borrowed time, Jordan is having Mustang Performance Racing’s Tim Eichorn build a Coyote engine for the car, and a Hellion Power Systems’ twin-turbocharger kit featuring Precision turbos will be the power adder of choice. Injector Dynamics’ injectors will feed the engine the good stuff. The engine should be ready around the same time as the chassis, and Jordan will be thrashing on the car every night, and relying help from his friends to have the car ready for Bowling Green. Jordan is an accountant by trade, and the second busy season of the year for him is in full swing, but he’s going to make it happen.

With the new car in the foreground, the original Snow WhiTTe GT is in sad shape in the background. Declared a total loss after getting rear-ended, Jordan bought the car back to salvage what could be saved, and used on the new car.
He has some lofty goals he wants to accomplish this time. First and foremost, he wants to drive the car to the track, swap, rear wheels and tires, run a 7-second pass, and drive back home with the A/C and satellite radio blasting. “There has not been a 7-second factory transmission Coyote and I’d like to be the first,” Jordan says.
He would also like to run 8s in full street trim, including the Mickey Thompson 19-inch drag radials he runs on the street. “I’m not sure if I am setting the bar too high for myself,” Jordan says, “But I would also like to beat my 8.68 pass with those same drag radials now that I have the luxury of more power to go along with the proper BMR suspension.”
Once the new car hits the pavement, and the track, we’ll be following Jordan’s progress. When he reaches his goals, you’ll be able to read all about it here.

Snow WhiTTe’s original engine is being built by Tim Eichorn at MPR for a go at the 7s. The new car will again have a Hellion Power Systems twin-turbo kit. Mustang Parts Fast supplied many of the new turbo system support pieces, such as the hot side, turbo blankets, titanium wrap, and needed fasteners.
