If you have followed our coverage of MAHLE’s Drive With The Original promotion, you know the engine-parts manufacturer commissioned Petty’s Garage to create a one-of-a-kind, 1,000-horsepower 2017 Ford Mustang fitted with two turbos and adorned in MAHLE’s signature colors.

“Four finalists will be randomly selected from all entries to receive an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas to participate in the special grand prize ceremony,” says the company. “The ‘Original,’ Richard Petty, will be present when the finalists each select a key fob – one of which will unlock the doors of the customized, twin-turbo 1,000 HP Grand Prize MAHLE Ford Mustang from Petty’s Garage.”

Leading up to the contest entries closing this Sunday, the company has released a series of videos documenting the construction and tuning of this amazing prize. Most recently, the company shared a glimpse at the paint and bodywork as well as the chassis-dyno testing, which should definitely get potential winners excited.

MAHLE will present the grand-prize Mustang to the winning auto tech on October 31, 2017 at the 2017 Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo, which is held in conjunction with the better-known SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
