See, Lewis’ Focus ST (FoST, as the kids like to call it) was quite the contender for the street. Now, this FoST sees most of its days driving to and from tracks such as Willow Springs International Raceway, an iconic race track that has been around since the early ’50s.
Beyond face value reveals a host of performance-driven modifications – where form doesn’t really play a part on the masses, and function reigns king.
A larger Garrett GTX2867R turbocharger now absorbs nearly a quarter of engine bay’s space, but at the benefit of a massive spike in horsepower and torque for good measure.
Safe to say, there’s more to Lewis’ Ford Focus ST than meets the eye – a once daily tourer turned weekend warrior. We even hear this turbocharged hatch can nearly put the smackdown on a brand new Porsche.
