We’ve been following very closely the build of Bosch’s Iridium Edition Mustang for a number of reasons. First and foremost, it’s a freakin’ Mustang. Secondly, they got 2010 Formula Drift Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. to join forces with them to build a special edition of his badass RTR Mustang.
The Iridium Edition will have a unique color palette and look, and most importantly of all, Bosch will be giving it away to one lucky winner.
To show our support for this awesome contest, we bring you Part 4 of the ongoing video series documenting the build of this one-off Mustang.
Last week we got our first look at the blue Iridium Edition RTR Mustang, and we really liked what we saw. This latest video gives a closer look at the finished product, which combines suspension improvements and a body kit with a unique matte blue color. The blue was chosen as it’s central in the Bosch Iridium spark plug marketing scheme – and it looks pretty sweet too.
The video also provides a look at the passion Vaughn Gittin Jr. has for Mustangs as he discusses sharing his passion with the world. Interestingly enough, Gittin does mention hating having to paint the carbon fiber hood; but that doesn’t get in the way of his huge grin as he goes over the car from front to back, admiring the handiwork. If you like the looks of this Mustang too, head over to the Bosch Facebook page in the next five days for a chance to sign up and win it.
