The Internet has brought together car guys in ways unimaginable just two decades ago. From car-specific forums to whole car clubs in the virtual world, the Internet has brought together car enthusiasts the world over. And perhaps no place is more a mecca of car parts than eBay motors, where anything and everything goes across the auction block.
But eBay Motors is taking things in a new direction, producing original content show called “Mod Jobs.” The premise is simple; viewers vote on how a car is modified, and then that car is auctioned off to benefit a charity. And what better car to kick off the cause than the 2012 Ford Mustang GT?
Mod Job started a few weeks ago, and they are already three episodes deep. The first modification they go for is an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger, which should boost horsepower to over 550 ponies. From there they added a Magnaflow exhaust system and an Eibach suspension system.

So where does the voting come in? Well for now, all you can vote on is the final paint scheme. The three choices are all actually kind of the same, just different takes on dark colors and dark accents. Still, for our money we’d go with the Ballistic Blue paint job. Take some time to check out these videos and vote because eventually this Mustang will go to auction, and the proceeds will benefit the Patriot Outreach Program to help support America’s military veterans. A good car for a good cause and a democratic tinge; what more could you ask for?
