If you don’t own a 2015+ Shelby GT350, you might not ever get the opportunity to open up its Owner’s Supplement box to see all the goodies inside. Fortunately, Marketing Manager David van der Leek and Marketing Assistant Drew Steele of Sherwood Ford in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, filmed an unboxing vid to share the experience and help you have a “giant” day.

“When you purchase a Ford Shelby GT350, not only do you get the high-performance power of the car but also a gift from Ford,” says the dealership. “For each purchase of the Shelby GT350, Ford Performance mails to your home a commemorative ‘Thank You’ filled with a number of goodies called an Owner’s Supplement box. See what’s inside the box here with Sherwood Ford.”

Aside from the genuine excitement of the hosts, it’s the rarity of seeing one of these gift boxes that hasn’t already been opened by the car owner. The dealer obviously has an in-house Shelby, as they received a box to open and share with the world.

“As dealership, we don’t usually see it,” Drew explained. “It goes directly from Ford to the customer when they purchase a Shelby GT350.”

As you’ll see in the extensive video, the box is filled with promotional and informational flyers. However, the most unique gift GT350 owners receive is a miniature version of the vaunted flat-plane crankshaft used in the Voodoo 5.2-liter engine. However, the coolest gift is the one free day of track time at the Ford Performance Driving School’s GT350 Track Attack, which every GT350 owner should take advantage of.
