Though currently only sold for an affordable price in the U.S. and Canada, the Ford Mustang has fans all over the world. These fans, like us, are inspired by the history, performance, and appeal of the Mustang, and many of them have formed their own clubs and shot their own videos as a tribute to the Mustang.

One such video that has been making the rounds is the work of Adi Chifor, who works for 3D visualization firm RTT. Adi visited Romania a couple of years and ago, with the help from a few friends, shot the video necessary for this awesome Mustang-versus-War Machine chase scene that could easily be a legit Ford commercial.

The video starts off with a vintage 1970 BOSS 302 Mustang on one of Romania’s, and indeed all of Europe’s best driving roads. Top Gear even filmed an episode on this very road, proclaiming it the best road in all of the Old World. Hot on the Mustang’s tale is the hotrod from hell, AKA the War Machine.

Guns, flails, and buzzsaws all attempt to halt the Mustang, and the less-than-a-minute long videol ends with a smooth transition from explosions in Romania into a modern 2013 BOSS 302 Mustang. CGI or not, this is a wonderfully done video, and yet another awesome tribute to America’s favorite muscle car.
