America may be home to the Mustang, but it has fans all over the world – from Australia to Zimbabwe, and everywhere in between. Everybody has their own take on the Mustang, and what’s made it so enduring is that people will go to great lengths to customize their Mustang in a unique way.
German advertising agency Design-World took a 2011 5.0L Mustang, wrapped it in some orange and black vinyl, and turned it loose on the world. Do you dig the looks? Or is it over the top, even for ze Germans?
Ford itself is offering some pretty bold colors for Mustangs these days, including Grabber Blue. They also offer custom graphics for the Mustang right from the dealership. But Design World went to the next level, wrapping the whole car front-to-back in this custom graphics package. It’s surely an attention grabber, what with the big bold “MUSTANG” scrawled on the side and the ragged graphics.
There’s also a few performance modifications too, like a cold air intake and custom tune that bumps power by 23 ponies, as well as 20-inch wheels. The whole package will set you back about $17,000 U.S. according to Design-World. Of course, everything is more expensive in Europe. Still, it’s a lot of money for some flashy graphics and a few extra horsepower. But you’ll definitely stand out from the crowd. Do you dig it?
