Buy a house, get a Mustang.

Mustang BISMARCK, N.D., — A North Dakota man wasn’t getting any offers on the house he wants to sell, so he’s decided to sweeten the deal and give the buyer a 1966 Mustang convertible.

Hal Seeberg has been trying to sell his five-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot house in Bismarck for about a month so he can join his wife, who took a job in St. Paul, Minn., the Bismarck (N.D.) Tribune reports. But there haven’t been any takers at his asking price of $299,000.

So his friends suggested he throw in one of his Ford Mustangs — he’s a collector and has eight — to increase interest, the Tribune said.

Seeberg decided that the newest addition to his Mustang herd — a 1966 cherry red convertible with 69,000 miles — would fill the bill.

He doesn’t know why people haven’t taken to the custom built house, which was designed to give each of the Seebergs’ teenage children their own floor. People still ask what is wrong with it, the newspaper said.

He told the Tribune the Mustang “might spice” up the deal.
