We happily stumbled upon Tad Logan’s webpage dedicated to 1969 Cougar Eliminators, however Tad welcomes all, “as a cougar enthusiast I love all 67-73 cougars. To me Cougars are the most stylish and powerful vehicles on the road.” The page is worth frequent re-visits as Tad is in the process of restoring his own 428CJ equipped ‘69 Cougar Eliminator. My son picked up an all original ‘68 from his high school teacher. 302 2v, auto, no air, drum brakes, fairly plain car. We have it almost completely disassembled and have started rebuilding frame and floor, replacing torque boxes ect. I have a 5.4l triton sitting arround and thought it might make a good modern power plant. Kid can hardly wait to drive her, but I’m taking my time to let him mature a tad. Youngsters with performance iron, well look at Zebb’s post.

By Ryan Ruckel. October 20th, 2007 at 5:46 pmHello, I have a 1969 cougar eliminator, in excellent condition, M code, what are these cars worth?
By mat. May 13th, 2007 at 5:16 pmthanks
My 1st car was a 69 Eliminator in Orange. Wrecked it cause I was young and dumb. Turns out it was one of 33 made for NASCAR with roll bar accessories and 6 point racing harness. NASCAR used some of them in testing. Found this out 25 years later

By frank. March 16th, 2007 at 11:28 amHad a ‘69 Eliminator in white with a built 351-4V Windsor, FMX trans and 9″ rear with 4.11. What a sweet car. I sold it to a young man who drove it off a cliff, destroying the car and killing himslef and his passanger. Fast — yes. Road Racer — no. I still miss the car (and its driver).
By Roger ‘Zebb’ O’Brien. March 13th, 2007 at 12:33 pmI am the original owner of this car and I know that it is in good hands with a great enthusiast of Cougars like Tad! It was also a great pleasure to meet him, his family and see the car for the first time since 1972.
