Ford Mustang and F-Series pickups are officially the “Hottest Car and Truck” at the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas. The SEMA Award – presented today – recognizes the most popular vehicles the organization’s members feature in their displays during the weeklong trade show.

Ford Motor Company will have in excess of 70 vehicles, hundreds of accessories and performance parts, and many of its brightest stars on hand in Las Vegas next week for the 2012 SEMA show.

Ford is expanding its involvement in professional drifting competition by becoming an official partner of Formula DRIFT and the 2013 Formula DRIFT championship.

Friends of Carroll Shelby, including Ford Motor Company, Shelby American, Ford Racing and many others have built a unique 2013 Shelby GT500 Cobra as a tribute to the late Carroll Shelby.

  Once again, the intersection of 9 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, just north of Detroit city limits, will be transformed into Ford Motor Company’s Mustang Alley, an annual free attraction, run by more than 300 Ford volunteers during the Woodward Dream Cruise.
