The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is, for lack of a better word, indestructible. It is an off-road machine built by one of the foremost car companies in the world, built to withstand the rigors and trials of the street and the trail. It is an unbelievably tough truck, and while it may be truly indestructible, it is without a doubt the hardiest pickup you can buy from a dealership with a warranty.
But still, it is worth wondering…what happens when you roll a Ford Raptor not once, not twice, but thrice? Well The Smoking Tire came across a post on the RaptorForumz where poster KaneNorth claims to have rolled his Raptor between 3 and 4 times. If you were expecting pictures of a ruined Raptor, well sorry to disappoint you, but this truck is just too damn tough to die.
KaneNorth claims that under slippery conditions, he basically lost control of his Raptor and put it into a ditch, apparently from some black ice (the driver wasn’t alone in rolling his truck; ten other vehicles wound up in the same ditch that day). The driver and his passenger were OK, and as it turns out the Raptor wasn’t too bad either…especially compared to the white Dodge Ram that also flipped into the same ditch, albeit just once.
Aside from a slightly-crinkled bed, some missing badges, and broken sideview mirrors, the Raptor is shockingly intact. In fact, we dare say that this Raptor is far, far away from actually being totaled, even with all the airbags going off. If Ford was ever looking for a ringing endorsement of the Built Ford Tough mantra, this thrice-rolled Raptor is it!
